The Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, with the central participation of Torbat Heydariyeh University of Medical Sciences and in collaboration with the Iranian Image of the Year Cultural and Artistic Institute, is organizing the Second International Photo Festival of “Young Iran”, featuring the photography competition “Portrait of the Young Iranian.”

Purpose of the Festival

This festival aims to showcase the role and position of Iranian youth within the family and society through the artistic vision of photographers.
It will be held in the following four main categories:

1. Main Section (Camera Photography)
2. Mobile Section (Mobile Photography)Photography)
3. Young World (The Role of Youth in Shaping the Future of the World):
   Depicting the active role of young people from different countries in building the future of the world in social, economic, cultural, and other fields.
4. Saffron: The Warmth of Iranian Families (Special Section – Camera and Mobile Photography)

Special Saffron Section

This section highlights saffron as one of the most important and symbolic products of the Torbat Heydariyeh region, focusing on its influence on family life.
Photographers are invited to capture images that portray saffron cultivation, harvesting, processing, and its role in local culture and livelihoods.
The goal is to raise awareness about the economic and social importance of saffron and to honor the hard work of the farmers who cultivate it.

Main Competition Themes

• Emotional relationships among youth and their families (parents, siblings, grandparents)
• The role of youth in creating joy and hope in society
• The role of mothers in nurturing and promoting the health of the young generation
• Wedding ceremonies in cities and villages across Iran
• National and international achievements of young Iranians in science, art, sports, and other fields
• The role of the young population in shaping the history, civilization, and culture of Iran today and in the future

• Announcement of selected participants: December 6, 2025, via com
• Exhibition date: December 11, 2025, at Torbat Heydariyeh University of Medical Sciences

Each artist whose work is selected for the exhibition and the festival’s official book will receive a certificate of participation and an honorarium of 1,000,000 IRR as an author’s fee.
